Built From the Tree Forward
Our approach to woodworking starts earlier than most, and that changes what’s possible.
Because we operate our own sawmill, we aren’t limited to standard dimensions, pre-processed lumber, or whatever happens to be available on the market. We can choose how a log is opened, how grain is revealed, and how material is oriented to suit the final piece rather than forcing a design to adapt to the wood.
In some cases, that means working with wood that already carries meaning. We’re able to custom mill a client’s own tree, whether it’s from a family property, a storm-felled tree, or land being cleared , and turn it into furniture or décor that preserves both the material and the story behind it.
That same control extends through drying and preparation, allowing the wood to move and settle before it ever becomes part of a finished piece. The result is greater stability, better proportions, and work that holds up over time.
Beyond wood alone, we design and fabricate all supporting metalwork in-house. Traditional legs and frames, clean modern forms, expressive minimalist structures, and even ornamental iron or sculptural metal and stone elements are all part of the same creative vision. Because nothing is outsourced, wood and metal are designed together from the start, not forced to meet at the end.
The goal isn’t complexity for its own sake.
It’s freedom to build pieces that feel intentional, cohesive, and enduring.
